Nakkisa Akhavan

 

Nakkisa Akhavan is available to tutor the LSAT, SAT, ISEE, and SSAT. Nakkisa attended UC Berkeley and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2008. She was a teacher and tutor at the Princeton Review in Berkeley, CA from June 2006 through August 2009. During that time she taught dozens of SAT courses for up to thirty students, private tutored many students one-on-one and taught small group tutoring sessions. She was trained to teach the SAT and LSAT.

 

In 2009, Nakkisa started law school at UCLA School of Law where she specialized in Critical Race Studies. After she graduated and sat for the California Bar Exam, she was a contract tutor for two companies in Los Angeles, Academic Achievers and Varsity Tutors, while she awaited bar results. Nakkisa was admitted to the California Bar in 2012 and is a practicing attorney.

 

Nakkisa attended high school at a small private school in Danville, CA called The Athenian School. She took the SSAT to be admitted to The Athenian School herself and has tutored numerous students, as young as nine years old who were preparing for the ISEE and SSAT.
