Golden Owl

A score on a standardized test should not control your opportunities, but sometimes that score is all that is standing between you and your goals. To help you reach your goals, Golden Owl Test Prep and Admissions Consulting offers a variety of different course structures and tutoring packages. Golden Owl works with each student to customize a package ideal for the student's needs. The primary tutor and founder of Golden Owl, Nakkisa Akhavan,  tutored the SAT, LSAT, SSAT, and ISEE as a teacher and tutor for three different test prep companies before starting her own company. 

 

In-person tutoring is available in the San Francisco Bay Area and Greater Los Angeles area. Online tutoring is available nationwide, though our tutors are in Pacific Standard Time. 

 

We currently offer SAT, LSAT, and ISEE/SSAT tutoring in a one-on-one or small group format. We also offer some school subject tutoring, so please inquire if you are looking for a tutor for middle school, high school, or college subjects. If we do not have a tutor available, we may be able to refer you to someone. Starting in May 2014, Golden Owl will also offer GRE tutoring. 

 

Beginning in Fall of 2014, Golden Owl will offer comprehensive admissions consulting for undergraduate and law school admissions. 

 

We offer both individual and group tutoring for competitive prices. All tutors were hand-selected by Nakkisa based on their creditions and teaching ability and trained in the Golden Owl methods and philosophy.
